Role and team

Core responsibilities

• Lead and guide the team; perform and oversee Guarantee and SBLC wording reviews, issuances, amendments and closures.
• Escalate complex or sensitive queries; research and respond to client enquiries accurately and on time.
• Produce monthly management and client reports, monitor service standards and daily controls, and escalate issues promptly.
• Support onboarding and servicing of new clients with business partners; communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Train associates and stakeholders on Trade Finance products and processes, and adapt to changing operational priorities.

Required qualifications and skills

• Practical experience processing Guarantees and SBLCs, including wording reviews, and knowledge of Trade Finance products.
• Knowledge of UCP 600, ISP98 and URDG 758; understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Professional written and spoken English; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to organise work, adapt priorities, maintain accuracy, make informed decisions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting colleagues and building effective working relationships.

Preferred qualifications

• Another European language, particularly German, would be useful.
• CSDG or CDCS qualification is desirable; project management experience is advantageous.
