Role overview

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly LOB-level G SIB calculations, aggregating, validating and reconciling large volumes of manual inputs.
• Learn and apply G SIB methodology, internal calculation logic and LOB-specific drivers.
• Manage and validate upstream data feeds, adjustments, assumptions and overrides; identify and challenge data issues or ambiguities against regulatory requirements.
• Recalculate promptly for balance sheet movements, data corrections and management requests.
• Maintain calculation support, audit trails and documentation suitable for internal review.
• Coordinate with data providers and sources and communicate data expectations and timelines.
• Communicate calculation results, key drivers and issues to the core G SIB team.
• Identify opportunities to enhance tools and processes; coordinate change projects, quantify results and communicate improvements across ECM, Technology and Compliance.

Education and experience

• B.E. plus MBA, CFA or FRM.
• 6–8 years of experience.

Foundational skills

• Strong understanding of Basel capital requirements and financials; experience in a US bank setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Global Markets, banking products and risk management.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or AI/ML.
• Ability to learn regulatory frameworks, calculation logic, templates and data structures quickly, with limited supervision.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication; comfortable escalating issues to management.
• Intellectual curiosity, proactive organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
• Flexibility to join meetings during US time zone hours.
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail and control mindset; ability to identify risks and maintain controls.
• Ability to manually manipulate, reconcile and validate large datasets and maintain numerical accuracy under repeated recalculations and time pressure.

Desired skills

• Experience or exposure to Asset Liability Management (ALM) is preferred.
• Business partnering skills and interest in understanding detailed processes and the broader picture.
• Experience improving or automating manual processes.
• Technical Business Analyst skills such as SQL, VBA, Tableau, Alteryx, Python or AI/ML.

Work timings

• 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
