Problem Solving Skills
- Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex passive network issues such as cable faults, patching errors, fiber breaks, and performance degradation.
- Analyze recurring faults, identify root causes, and recommend practical long-term corrective actions.
- Suggest and help implement improved tools, labeling standards, testing procedures, and documentation practices.
- Provide on-site technical leadership during high-impact incidents or major events, coordinating with Network Engineers, vendors, and operations teams.

- GCC / Gulf region experience preferred, ideally in large venues such as stadiums, airports, hospitals, campuses, or hospitality environments.
- Proven track record delivering projects under strict SLAs, event timelines, and HSE/permit-to-work regimes.
Education And Certifications
- Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related discipline (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology preferred but not mandatory.
- Networking certifications such as CCNA, HCIA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent highly desirable.
- Structured cabling certifications (e.g., BICSI Installer/Technician, manufacturer certifications like CommScope, Nexans, Leviton, or FOA CFOT) are a strong plus.
Job-Specific Technical Skills
- Expertise in passive cabling technologies including UTP, STP, fiber optic cabling, patch panels, LIUs, and structured LAN cabling systems.
- Ability to design, interpret, and review cabling layouts, rack elevations, and event overlay cabling plans.
- Proficient in cable testing and certification tools (Fluke DTX/DSX, OTDR, power meters, visual fault locators) and interpreting results.
- Hands-on experience in rack dressing, patch cord management, labeling standards, and maintaining workmanship in IDF/MDF/DC environments.
