Role Overview

ACL Digital is hiring a Senior Network Software Developer focused on datacom and multicast networking software.

The role is based in Bengaluru and requires work from the office.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Requires 8+ years of networking software development experience.
  • Requires 8+ years of experience in networking product development and solution engineering.
  • Requires a BE or ME degree in computer science or electronics and communication engineering.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Requirements

  • Requires routing, switching, Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocol experience, including OSPF, BGP, ISIS, VXLAN, RIP, VLAN, STP/MSTP, LACP, ARP, IPv4/IPv6 and MPLS.
  • Requires IP multicast routing experience with IGMP, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM and MSDP.
  • Requires strong C system programming and debugging skills for switching and routing products.
  • Experience with Datapath, DPDK, FastPath, SDK development, control plane, data plane or forwarding plane technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test aggregation or core router products.
  • Develop and debug switching and routing software using C.
  • Build software involving networking protocols and IP multicast routing.

Workplace

  • The position is based in Bengaluru and requires work from the office.
