Job Responsibilities
- Work independently on well-defined projects and mentor peers to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers and product management to evaluate feature requests.
- Write functional design specifications and unit test plans, and own module code quality.
- Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools.
- Design scalable, cloud-ready systems without performance bottlenecks under large loads.
- Use test-driven methodologies and automation before handoff to Quality Assurance.
- Stay current with client-server development, security, technology frameworks, and infrastructure.
- Deliver subsystems, anticipate issues, address problems proactively, and propose product improvements.
- Use sound judgment in design choices and contribute to technical decisions across diverse problems.
Job Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Solid programming skills in C, C++, Golang, and Python.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, SSO, Identity and Access Management, and related security technologies.
- Experience using AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience creating, managing, and consuming REST APIs, including Postman and API gateways.
- Experience with security software and SAFe agile software development.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Understanding of database fundamentals; PostgreSQL experience is advantageous.
