Seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a large-scale, complex network environment.
The role focuses on data centre networking, enterprise routing and switching, network security, automation, and troubleshooting critical network issues.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical network outages and complex technical issues.
- Provide escalation support for Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support critical maintenance windows, upgrades, and network changes.
- Work with customer technical teams to improve network performance and stability.
Technical skills
- Data centre technologies: VXLAN, EVPN, ECMP, IS-IS, and MP-BGP.
- Cisco Nexus switches and Nexus Dashboard; Layer 2/Layer 3, BGP, and OSPF routing and switching.
- Firewalls, Cisco ISE, and RADIUS/TACACS.
- Ansible, Python, Postman, and APIs.
- DWDM, SFP/SFP+/QSFP, server load balancing, virtualisation, and AI data centre infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experienced Senior Network Engineer with expertise supporting large-scale, complex network environments.
- Technical skills span data centre networking, routing and switching, network security, automation, and the listed Cisco, optical, and infrastructure technologies.
