Role overview
Senior Network Engineer specializing in Segment Routing and SRv6, designing, deploying, and optimizing complex carrier-grade infrastructure.
The focus is improving network scalability, performance, and reliability.
Network design and deployment
- Design end-to-end network solutions using Segment Routing and SRv6.
- Lead migrations from traditional MPLS architectures to SRv6-based environments.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of high-scale, multi-vendor routing platforms.
Operations and technical leadership
- Analyze performance and conduct capacity planning for network reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex latency, path selection, routing, and connectivity issues.
- Implement traffic engineering to optimize network paths and resource utilization.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as the primary escalation point for complex design and operational challenges.
- Collaborate across teams to align architecture with business and service requirements.
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of advanced network routing and infrastructure experience, including at least 10 years implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Segment Routing.
- At least 1 year designing and deploying SRv6 in production environments.
- Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Current CCDP or CCIE certification is required.
- Proven complex network troubleshooting ability and experience designing and optimizing large-scale, carrier-grade infrastructure.
