Senior .NET Developer

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services; build scalable, secure, high-performance backend solutions.
• Design and manage database structures, optimize SQL queries, and develop Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures.
• Implement business logic, application workflows, and third-party integrations; use Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and ORM technologies for data access.
• Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and performance; analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks; participate in solution design, technical discussions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain technical documentation, and follow coding standards and development best practices.

Technical requirements

• At least five years of professional experience in .NET software development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and MVC; proven experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query optimization; hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend/backend integration.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version-control tools; knowledge of authentication, authorization, and application security.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Education and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is specified.
• Candidates should have at least five years of hands-on .NET application development experience and experience developing, deploying, and supporting production-grade applications.

Preferred skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development is preferred.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment is preferred.
• Exposure to Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks is preferred.
• Knowledge of xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, or other unit-testing frameworks is preferred.
• Application performance monitoring, debugging, and optimization experience is preferred.
