About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Merchandise Planning to shape world-class product assortments across our leisure portfolio. This role owns end-to-end merchandise planning - from budgeting and forecasting to OTB, inventory performance, and availability - ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.

You’ll lead a team of planners and work closely with Buying, Retail and Operations to drive sales, improve efficiency, and build scalable planning processes across multiple attractions and locations.

What you’ll be doing

• Own merchandise planning strategy across the portfolio, aligned to business goals
• Lead KPI performance across stock efficiency, availability, inventory turn, month holding, closing stock and OTB
• Build and manage budgets and forecasts (in-season + annual), providing clear performance insights
• Drive OTB efficiency through regular reviews with planning and buying teams
• Optimize inventory to maximize availability and reduce long/aged stock
• Allocate stock by location using historical sales, seasonality, and emerging trends
• Support range building through analysis of trends and yearly performance
• Lead and develop the planning team, driving capability and accountability
• Strengthen supplier partnerships and manage intake critical paths and timelines
• Support new product launches with strong allocation and performance tracking

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years in category-level merchandise planning / inventory management with full KPI ownership
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong experience with budget development, forecasting, and OTB management
• Track record of leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills and strong commercial decision-making
• Confident presenting insights to senior leadership
• Advanced Excel + strong PowerPoint skills

Nice to have

• Power BI experience is highly preferred
• Experience in multi-site retail (and theme parks/leisure retail is a plus)
