Senior MEP Planning Engineer

About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join our team, specializing in MEP and data center projects.

Responsibilities:

•Develop and review project program schedules, weekly and monthly reports, KPIs, manpower histograms, and plant histograms.

•Effectively communicate with the Head Office team about design, engineering, and procurement items. Develop and maintain different tracker schedules.

•Communicate effectively with the project team to identify day-to-day planning/schedule issues, concerns, critical items/areas, delays, and take effective steps/actions.

•Capable of effectively communicating project requirements with clients, consultants, and engineers to achieve solutions quickly.

•Subcontractor Management – including the process of tender, procurement, mobilization, program/schedule, reports, meetings, recovery, and closeout.

•Suggest management of risks affecting project schedules and interfaces.

•Develop, submit, and maintain delay notices, interim claims, final claims for successful closeout.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Experience in data centers is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of authority requirements and procedures.
• Good knowledge and experience in delay analysis techniques and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using Primavera and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with engineering and construction tools.
