Project HSE Director

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's HSE strategy, objectives, and annual improvement plans aligned with business goals.
• Serve as the Management Representative for the HSE Management System, ensuring effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of HSE processes across all projects.
• Lead the implementation and compliance of the company's HSE Management System in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
• Ensure all project operations comply with applicable Saudi regulations, client requirements, and company HSE policies and procedures.
• Maintain the company's HSE certifications and oversee internal and external audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and corrective action programs.
• Advise executive management on HSE risk management, regulatory compliance, operational risks, and strategic HSE initiatives.
• Develop, review, and approve HSE policies, safe work procedures, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and project-specific HSE plans.
• Lead, mentor, and manage HSE teams across multiple projects, ensuring competency development, performance management, and effective resource allocation.
• Participate in management review meetings to evaluate HSE performance and ensure policies, procedures, and objectives remain effective and aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on all HSE-related matters.
• Lead investigations into serious incidents, near misses, and environmental events, ensuring root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure closure of observations and findings.
• Drive HSE awareness, training, engagement programs, and behavioral safety initiatives to strengthen the organization's safety culture.
• Support Project Directors and Project Managers in the development and implementation of project-specific HSE plans, procedures, method statements, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements within the scope of HSE operations.
