Overview

JLW is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of construction and large scale Data Center projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, commercial, contractual, and project management capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The role requires effective stakeholder management, strategic planning, risk management, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall commercial, contractual, and operational performance of assigned projects.

Monitor project profitability, commercial risks, contractual obligations, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Review and approve major variations, claims, extension of time submissions, and project recovery plans.

Lead and manage relationships with Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Authorities, and other key stakeholders.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support successful project delivery and future business opportunities.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, and project teams.

Oversee project planning, resource allocation, manpower requirements, and project execution strategies.

Monitor project progress against approved programmes and implement recovery measures where required.

Identify project risks and opportunities and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented.

Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, approved specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Monitor project costs, budgets, productivity, and resource utilization to achieve project objectives.

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Lead project review meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical, commercial, and operational issues.

Support business development and tendering activities by providing operational, technical, and resource planning input.

Promote continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of lessons learned across projects.

Mentor and develop project personnel to support succession planning and organisational growth.

Ensure successful project close-out in accordance with contractual requirements.
