Lead commercial responsibility across allocated MEP packages for a major data centre project in Didcot.
Work with project leadership, the client and supply chain partners to support successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead commercial management and performance across allocated MEP packages, including cost, forecasting, risk and opportunity management.
- Manage subcontract procurement, administration, change, accounts, claims and final accounts.
- Lead monthly cost reporting, commercial forecasting, contract reviews and management information.
- Identify, price and manage project change; advise project leadership on commercial and contractual matters.
- Manage commercial risks and opportunities, implement mitigations, and maintain governance, controls and contract compliance.
- Build client, subcontractor and stakeholder relationships; lead, guide and support the wider Commercial team.
Skills and experience
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- Significant commercial management experience within MEP or building services projects and proven experience leading complex MEP packages.
- Experience on data centres or other major construction projects is desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence at all levels.
- RICS membership is desirable but not essential.
