Overview
- Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for complex mechanical systems, encompassing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, by meticulously analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope documents.
- Lead the bidding process by preparing comprehensive proposals, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company profitability goals.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope, identify potential risks, and optimize cost-saving opportunities throughout the estimation phase.
- Source and negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships to secure competitive bids and ensure the timely procurement of materials and services.
- Review & analyse MEP drawings, specification, and complete Tender documents
- Perform Quantity take-off using software like AutoCAD, Plan swift, Candy etc.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQ and proposals
- Co-ordinate with suppliers and Subcontractors for quotations
- Support and Manage Tender process with Technical and Commercial inputs
- Maintain updated project cost databases and documentation.
