Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Agricultural, or another relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant materials/procurement experience.
- Relevant experience in landscaping, irrigation, infrastructure, and/or construction.
- Relevant UAE/GCC project procurement experience.
Procurement expertise
- Experience with RFQs, supplier quotations, technical/commercial comparison sheets, and procurement logs.
Materials expertise
- Experience with material submittals, samples, approvals, and test reports.
- Experience coordinating long-lead materials.
Supplier management
- Experience with supplier sourcing, supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and vendor-list management.
- Knowledge or network of UAE suppliers and vendors is an added advantage.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, Procurement, Consultants, and Suppliers.
Systems
- Strong MS Excel skills are required.
- ERP/procurement-system experience is preferred.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
