Senior Manager – Marketing

Based in Dubai

Responsible for leading the strategic marketing function across a portfolio of large-scale events.

The role oversees the development and execution of integrated marketing, communications, branding, and creative strategies that drive visitor attendance, exhibitor acquisition, revenue growth, and market positioning.

This position also leads a high-performing marketing team while collaborating closely with commercial, operations, and external partners to deliver successful event outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for a portfolio of exhibitions, conferences, and live events to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, PR, content, advertising, partnerships, and traditional media channels.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, ensuring effective resource planning, performance management, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, commercial teams, and event stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business goals and revenue targets.
  • Drive attendee acquisition, exhibitor engagement, sponsorship visibility, and brand awareness through data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of all marketing collateral, creative assets, promotional materials, and campaign content while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Identify new market opportunities through research, customer insights, competitor analysis, and industry trends, recommending strategies for portfolio growth.
  • Develop audience segmentation, CRM, and database marketing strategies to improve customer engagement, lead generation, and campaign performance.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness through analytics, reporting, and performance metrics, optimising marketing investments and return on investment.
  • Lead onsite marketing activities, including media relations, press events, VIP programmes, brand activations, and promotional initiatives during live events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum
  • 7-8 years
  • of progressive marketing experience, with significant exposure to the events, exhibitions, conferences, or live entertainment industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing campaigns for large-scale commercial events.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, content marketing, media planning, branding, analytics, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and external agencies in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
