• Senior Manager – Procurement Intelligence | Dubai
• JDL Recruitment are partnering with a leading hyperscale data centre developer to hire a Senior Manager – Procurement Intelligence for their Dubai team.
• This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a procurement intelligence function within a rapidly expanding business delivering major infrastructure and data centre projects across the region.
• You'll work closely with senior leadership, providing the market, supplier, and commercial intelligence that drives strategic procurement decisions.
• The role
• Lead the development of procurement intelligence capabilities across the business.
• You'll provide senior stakeholders with clear, actionable insights on spend, suppliers, market trends, risk exposure, and value creation opportunities, helping shape sourcing strategies and long-term supply chain decisions.
• What you'll be doing
• Develop and lead the procurement intelligence strategy across the organisation.
• Provide executive-level insights on spend, supplier performance, market trends, and commercial risks.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and major procurement decisions with data-driven analysis.
• Develop scenario modelling for supply chain risk, price fluctuations, and long-term cost forecasting.
• Build and maintain procurement dashboards, KPIs, and governance reporting.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Strategy, and Delivery teams to support key business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, supplier diversification, and risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI, and digital analytics tools.
• What we're looking for
• 10+ years' experience in procurement, procurement intelligence, commercial analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience supporting strategic sourcing and procurement decision-making.
• Background within data centres, infrastructure, construction, or other capital-intensive industries.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to advanced analytics, digital tools, automation, or AI-led solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
