We’re currently looking to engage an experienced

Director – Commercial Solutions & Bid Management

to lead the end-to-end bid function and commercial solutioning capability across complex, high-value enterprise opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team operating in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, supporting strategic bids and shaping winning solutions across large-scale, technically complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end management of complex tenders, RFPs, RFIs, renewals, and strategic proposals
  • Establish and drive a structured bid management process, including governance, timelines, and quality control
  • Develop commercially robust and differentiated solution strategies aligned to client requirements
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Pricing, and technical teams to shape winning submissions
  • Support commercial negotiations through scenario analysis and risk/value trade-offs
  • Maintain a forward-looking bid pipeline and ensure proactive delivery against deadlines
  • Oversee proposal quality, compliance, and alignment with commercial strategy
  • Drive continuous improvement through bid reviews, win/loss analysis, and best practice frameworks

Requirements

  • 10–15 years’ experience in bid management, commercial solutioning, or complex B2B environments
  • Proven track record leading large-scale tenders, RFPs, and strategic proposals
  • Strong experience working across cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations)
  • Experience in data centres, cloud, telecom, or related infrastructure sectors is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing coordination and deal structuring
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
