Workplace
- Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the downtown office; attendance requirements may change with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead test-strategy development and implementation across complex solutions, teams, and platforms.
- Drive automation, improve testing standards, and advise project teams on testability and testing plans.
- Coordinate resources, resolve testing issues, assess results, document defects, and verify fixes.
- Monitor quality metrics, recommend process improvements, and contribute to QA capability-building.
Required experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of coding experience with Python or Java and complex automation frameworks.
- At least 5 years in mobile test automation, Jenkins pipelines, Postman API testing, BrowserStack/Selenium or equivalent, and JMeter or equivalent performance testing.
- Strong experience leading complex test plans, creating QA strategy and roadmaps, and managing test data through synthetic data, mocking, masking, or purging.
- Typically 7–10 years of IT or business experience and/or a relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
- Knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, metrics, automated testing frameworks, and BMO documentation standards.
Additional qualifications
- SonarQube, RunScope or BlazeMeter, and people-management experience are nice-to-have skills.
Compensation
- Posted salary range is $85,500–$185,000; pay type is salaried. The posting does not state a compensation cadence.
