Role overview

HUC project leadership

• Lead all Hook Up & Commissioning work for EPCI projects and develop strategies and plans for smooth execution.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams around project milestones.
• Manage schedules, budgets, specifications, quality control, and safety standards throughout HUC delivery.
• Provide technical guidance; review and approve HUC procedures, methodologies, and work plans.
• Work with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical challenges and meet specifications.
• Apply industry best practices and pursue continuous improvement in HUC processes.

Team and policy leadership

• Supervise multidisciplinary HUC professionals and allocate resources effectively.
• Set performance expectations, coach and mentor direct reports, conduct evaluations, and arrange training to address skill gaps.
• Foster communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Lead implementation, enforcement, and verification of company policies and procedures; ensure mandatory training is completed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• At least 10 years of progressive EPCI Hook Up & Commissioning experience, including at least five years in management or leadership.
• Demonstrated HUC project delivery and knowledge of industry standards, codes, regulations, methods, procedures, and best practices.
• Project management expertise focused on schedule and cost control; understanding of technical integrity, safety, and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and reporting software and systems.
• Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, make decisions, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
