About This Role
Lead and manage end-to-end Freight Forwarding Operations for the branch across Ocean Freight and Air Freight activities, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, profitability, compliance, and people leadership.
The role is accountable for daily branch operational performance, service delivery, productivity, customer escalation management, operational governance, and continuous improvement across import and export operations.
Responsibilities:
-Lead the overall Freight Forwarding Operations function for the branch across Air, Ocean, and Customs operations.
-Ensure efficient execution of all import and export shipments in line with customer SOPs, regulatory requirements, and internal KPIs.
-Drive operational performance, service quality, productivity, and profitability across the branch.
-Monitor operational KPIs including shipment turnaround time, job profitability, billing timeliness, productivity, and customer service levels.
-Ensure adherence to operational governance, internal controls, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
-8–12 years of Freight Forwarding operational experience across Ocean Freight and Air Freight
-Minimum 4–5 years in a leadership or branch management role within Freight Forwarding.
-Strong operational knowledge of UAE customs processes and Dubai Trade systems.
-Experience managing high-volume Freight Forwarding operations within UAE/GCC markets.
-Strong people leadership and stakeholder management experience.
-Experience within a global logistics or multinational Freight Forwarding environment.
-Exposure to operational transformation, process improvement, or shared services environments.
-CargoWise / Cargo Runner system experience preferred.
