Position is Live-In and for VIP Family in Doha, Qatar
The House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the residence, ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, security, and hospitality.
The role includes managing household staff, coordinating vendors, maintaining household budgets, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while providing exceptional service to the family and guests.
Household Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the residence.
- Ensure the home is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Develop and implement household policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Manage household inventories, supplies, and equipment.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate household staff (housekeepers, chefs, drivers, gardeners, nannies, security personnel, etc.).
- Prepare staff schedules and allocate duties.
- Conduct performance reviews and address staff issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with household standards and confidentiality requirements.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors, service providers, and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate contracts, and monitor service quality.
- Schedule preventive maintenance for household systems and equipment.
Budget & Administration
- Prepare and monitor household operating budgets.
- Track expenses, maintain records, and process invoices.
- Manage household documentation, warranties, insurance records, and service contracts.
Hospitality & Event Coordination
- Coordinate guest arrivals and departures.
- Plan and oversee family events, dinners, and social gatherings.
- Ensure exceptional hospitality standards for visitors and VIP guests.
Property Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of the residence.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance projects.
- Ensure landscaping, pool, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems are properly maintained.
Security & Safety
- Ensure household security procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with security personnel and emergency service providers.
- Maintain emergency preparedness plans and safety protocols.
Personal Assistance (As Required)
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries.
- Manage family calendars and appointments.
- Handle confidential correspondence and special requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience managing luxury residences, estates, or hospitality operations.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary household staff.
- Strong knowledge of household maintenance, budgeting, and vendor management.
