About the role

Audit responsibilities

• Audit hospitality operations, including F&B cost control, inventory, procurement, revenue assurance, cash handling, outlet controls, and brand or franchise compliance.
• Audit facility management operations, including service delivery, maintenance contracts, SLA compliance, vendor and subcontractor management, asset lifecycle, and PPM governance.
• Assess controls across integrated services, managed properties, mixed-use assets, and outsourced FM arrangements.
• Identify operational risk, revenue leakage, contractual non-compliance, and control weaknesses.
• Develop and execute Risk Control Matrices, distinguishing design effectiveness from operating effectiveness.
• Perform fieldwork, gather evidence, and document defensible workpapers.
• Draft findings and lead reports with accurate risk ratings, supporting evidence, and actionable recommendations.
• Engage hospitality, FM, and asset management teams to agree corrective action plans; track findings to closure.
• Guide and review junior auditors and support the Internal Audit Manager with engagement planning and scoping.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• CIA, CPA, CFE, or equivalent certification is preferred or may be in progress.
• Minimum 5–8 years of internal audit or assurance experience.
• Demonstrated coverage of hospitality and F&B operations and facility management, including service contracts, SLAs, asset lifecycle, and PPM governance.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality risks such as F&B cost control, revenue assurance, inventory shrinkage, cash management, and brand compliance.
• Strong knowledge of FM risks such as contractor management, SLA/KPI compliance, maintenance ratios, and asset register integrity.
• Integrated or mixed-use asset audit experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong fieldwork, workpaper documentation, and report-writing skills; confident stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with risk-based audit methods aligned to the IIA IPPF.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
