The Role

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate and oversee laundry equipment used for washing, drying, pressing, and finishing linens, uniforms, and guest garments
• Ensure proper sorting, handling, and processing of all fabrics according to established standards and care instructions
• Assist in supervising daily laundry operations and provide guidance to Laundry Attendants when required
• Inspect items before and after processing to ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Apply appropriate stain removal techniques and fabric treatments while minimizing damage to garments and linens
• Monitor linen and uniform quality, identifying items that require repair, replacement, or special handling
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the laundry area at all times
• Ensure timely distribution and delivery of clean linens, uniforms, and guest laundry to the appropriate departments
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report shortages as required
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, or operational issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures
• Support training and onboarding of new Laundry Attendants and promote best practices within the team
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of laundry operations, guest laundry, and departmental requirements
• Contribute to overall housekeeping efficiency and service excellence

About You

• Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant within a hotel environment, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity preferred
• Strong knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care, stain removal techniques, and laundry equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual tasks and lifting when required
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle operational challenges effectively
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
• Basic understanding of inventory control and record keeping
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations
