Technical Office Responsibilities
- Lead technical-office review and coordination of golf-course shaping, landscape, agronomy, architectural, and interior-fit-out packages.
- Review golf grading plans, digital terrain and contour models, fairway profiles, greens, tees, bunker geometry, cart paths, and landscape levels.
- Evaluate rootzone profiles, drainage layers, gravel blankets, bunker sands, and specialist golf-construction materials against USGA recommendations and project specifications.
- Review soil-physics and agronomy laboratory reports covering particle size, infiltration, permeability, porosity, organic content, salinity, and compatibility.
- Review landscape planting plans and specifications for Riyadh climate, water availability, and maintenance conditions.
- Evaluate nursery submissions, plant samples, turfgrass varieties, soil conditioners, fertilizers, mulches, and desert-adapted planting materials.
- Verify Paspalum, Bermuda, and other turf varieties for playing surfaces, irrigation-water quality, and environmental conditions.
- Review clubhouse and support-building shop drawings, interior fit-out packages, facade systems, finishes, doors, ceilings, and material submittals.
- Coordinate landscape and architectural interfaces with civil, irrigation, drainage, lake structures, retaining elements, utilities, lighting, and MEP systems.
- Provide technically justified responses to contractor RFIs on grading, interfaces, cart paths, lake edges, architectural details, and substitutions.
- Review method statements for earth shaping, rootzone placement, turf establishment, grow-in, bunker construction, planting, and specialist finishes.
Requirements
- Technical expertise covering golf-course shaping, landscape, agronomy, architectural, and interior-fit-out packages.
- Knowledge of USGA recommendations and project specifications for golf-construction materials.
- Ability to evaluate soil physics, agronomy laboratory results, turf varieties, planting materials, and Riyadh climate suitability.
- Ability to coordinate landscape and architectural interfaces with civil, irrigation, drainage, structures, utilities, lighting, and MEP systems.
- Ability to review contractor method statements, shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals.
