Role Overview

Golf-Course Works

• Supervise shaping of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, mounds, roughs and other golf-course features.
• Verify coordinates, elevations, slopes, contours, drainage falls and grading tolerances against approved drawings and survey data.
• Supervise USGA-type green construction, including subgrade, herringbone drainage, gravel, intermediate layers, rootzone and final grading.
• Inspect bunker formation, drainage, lining systems, sand placement, slopes, edges and transitions.
• Monitor rootzone, gravel, bunker sand and soil placement, including approved materials, layer thicknesses and compaction methods.

Landscape and Site Works

• Supervise turf sprigging, seeding or sodding, establishment watering, fertilization, mowing and agronomic grow-in activities.
• Inspect tree, shrub, groundcover and desert-adapted planting works, including soil preparation, planting pits, staking, mulching and establishment care.
• Monitor irrigation coverage, sprinkler levels and coordination with turf, planting and finished landscape levels.
• Inspect hardscape installations including cart paths, retaining walls, bridges, decking, kerbs, paving, steps, signage and site furniture.

Architectural and Quality Control

• Supervise clubhouse and auxiliary-building finishes, including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, joinery, façades and specialist decorative works.
• Compare installed finishes with approved shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, material submissions and architectural requirements.
• Process Requests for Inspection and maintain inspection, testing, photographic and quality-control records.
• Identify defective, damaged or nonconforming works and issue observations or nonconformance documentation.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in landscape architectural engineering or related construction supervision.
• Ability to supervise golf-course features, greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, mounds and roughs against approved drawings and survey data.
• Knowledge of USGA-type green profiles, drainage layers, rootzone placement and final grading.
• Experience inspecting landscape materials, planting, irrigation, hardscape and architectural finishes.
• Ability to review shop drawings, samples, mock-ups and material submissions against design requirements.
• Ability to maintain inspection, testing, photographic and quality-control records.
