Role overview
Deploy, manage, and maintain secure, scalable bare-metal Kubernetes platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Provision servers using MAAS, Metal3/Ironic, and Ansible.
- Deploy and manage RKE2 Kubernetes clusters in air-gapped environments.
- Configure Cilium/Hubble networking, DNS, TLS, and security policies.
- Manage Longhorn, OpenEBS, and Ceph/Rook storage solutions.
- Implement monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and cluster upgrades.
Required skills
- Strong Linux administration across RHEL, Rocky, or Ubuntu, and Kubernetes administration.
- Experience with RKE2, Cilium, Ceph, Ansible, and GitOps.
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, DNS/TLS, and disaster recovery.
