Responsibilities
- The role focuses on the design, development, and support of front-office electronic trading applications used by the Derivatives Principal Flow Trading business.
- You will:
- Design, develop, applications and trading algorithms
- Drive projects and end-to-end deliveries, taking ownership from design through production deployment
- Work closely with traders, quants, and business stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into innovative technical solutions
- Build robust, scalable, and highly available Java server-side systems
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure solution quality, security, reliability, performance, and compliance
- Enhance observability, monitoring, and production support capabilities, proactively identifying and resolving operational risks
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term remediation measures
- Collaborate within a global Agile team delivering business value in iterative development cycles
- Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to engineering excellence and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Drive adoption of modern development practices, including AI-assisted software engineering and automation
