Senior IT Project Manager

About This Role

Highly experienced Senior Project Manager to take the lead on complex technology programs in

aviation. This role is all about shaping the future of airport and airline operations—bringing together data, systems, and people to deliver platforms that make airports smarter, more resilient, and better for passengers. Projects involve real-time data integration and AI-driven analytics to passenger flow technology, baggage systems, flight information, and security solutions. It’s a role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, mission-critical environments and who understands the unique challenges of the aviation world.

Program and Project Leadership

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of enterprise-scale aviation technology projects—from inception, RFP/vendor selection, to deployment and handover.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with strategic business outcomes.
• Develop and manage program plans, budgets, risks, and resources, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards.
• Oversee vendor performance, service levels, and contract compliance.
• Drive alignment with enterprise data platforms, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Act as the primary interface between executive stakeholders, regulators, vendors, and operational teams.
• Facilitate steering committees, workshops, and operational readiness reviews.
• Translate business requirements into functional/technical deliverables, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.

System Integration and Delivery Oversight

• Oversee integration of multiple internal and external systems, including IoT, AI/analytics, dashboards, and decision support tools.
• Ensure architecture supports scalability, resilience, and hybrid (on-prem/cloud) deployments.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, aviation, and data protection frameworks (ISO/NIST/ICAO/IATA).

Documentation & Reporting

• Produce project documentation including charters, plans, risk registers, post-implementation reviews, and KPI dashboards.
• Report progress to senior leadership and stakeholders with clear risk and impact assessments.
• Embed lessons learned, drive operational improvements, and support change management initiatives.

Note: This is a one-year fixed-term role with a salary of 27,000 AED all inclusive.
