JASARA PMC seeks a highly experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to analyse complex business processes and help deliver IT solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
The role provides expert guidance across the project lifecycle and connects business needs with technology implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements-gathering and analysis sessions with business stakeholders to identify needs and objectives.
- Translate complex requirements into functional specifications and design documents; conduct impact, gap, and feasibility analyses.
- Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and vendors to support IT solution delivery.
- Develop and maintain process flows, use cases, user stories, and detailed project documentation.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to create shared understanding and resolve issues.
- Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Mentor junior analysts, promote business analysis best practices, and recommend improvements informed by technology and industry trends.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 5–8 years of business analysis experience in IT environments is required.
- Applicants should be able to manage complex requirements gathering and project documentation and know business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills are required.
- Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies is required.
- Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence is required.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or an equivalent relevant certification is highly desirable.
