Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and provide technical support for IPTV/OTT video services, encoding, monitoring, streaming, and associated platforms.
Experience and technical requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IPTV/OTT, video delivery, broadcast, or NOC/headend operations.
- Hands-on IPTV/OTT platform, video streaming, encoding/transcoding, and video monitoring systems experience.
- Knowledge of MPEG-TS, H.264/H.265, SDI, IP video, multicast, and unicast.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience, particularly with Linux-based video applications and services.
- Knowledge of IP networking, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, multicast/unicast, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
- Ability to troubleshoot packet loss, latency, bandwidth utilization, connectivity, buffering, and service-quality issues.
- Experience with monitoring/QoE platforms and incident management.
- Ateme TITAN LIVE/FILE, Agama, and Flussonic Media Streamer experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based operational environment.
