I'm currently working on behalf of a highly respected boutique architecture and interior design studio in Dubai to appoint a Senior Designer.
This is a design-led practice with an outstanding reputation for delivering bespoke ultra-luxury residential projects for private clients across the UAE and internationally.
Despite the challenges seen across the region over the past year, the business has continued to grow and has built an impressive pipeline of upcoming work.
The studio has created an environment where good design comes first.
You'll be given the autonomy to lead projects, influence creative direction and work alongside an experienced team, without the unnecessary layers of management often found in larger practices.
They also place a genuine emphasis on work-life balance and staff retention, which is reflected in the longevity of their team.
The role will see you leading projects from concept through to detailed design, managing client relationships and coordinating with consultants to ensure exceptional design quality throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of high-end luxury residential projects.
- Develop concepts, spatial layouts and presentation material.
- Produce and oversee design development and technical drawing packages.
- Present design proposals to clients and lead design meetings.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants and external suppliers.
- Mentor and support junior members of the design team.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the highest design and quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting programme deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience delivering luxury residential architecture or interior design projects.
- Strong design and space planning ability with an excellent eye for detail.
- Experience leading projects and managing client relationships.
- Confident coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
- Strong technical understanding and experience producing drawing packages.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit or similar industry software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Based in Dubai or open to relocating.
