Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex, large-scale construction projects, overseeing all site operations from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Manage project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and implement project strategies, programmes, schedules, and delivery plans aligned with client expectations and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, commercial performance, resource allocation, and overall project progress.
• Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, variations, claims, and project requirements.
• Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to protect programme, cost, and quality objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, authorities, and project partners.
• Lead coordination between design, commercial, construction, and technical teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, authority requirements, health & safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Drive best practices across project delivery, improving processes, efficiency, and overall project performance.
• Provide clear reporting and project updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop project teams, creating a high-performance and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 18 years’ experience within construction, project management, or supervision, with a strong track record delivering major developments.
• Previous experience operating as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager on large-scale building projects.
• Strong Middle East experience is essential, with proven knowledge of the Dubai construction market.
• Experience managing projects under contractual frameworks, including contractor management, claims, variations, and commercial processes.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, planning, cost management, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams across complex projects.
• Excellent client-facing skills with experience dealing directly with developers, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
