Senior I&C Engineer – Operations and Maintenance

Role overview

Operations engineering

• Resolve site operations engineering queries and activities with the site team and progress longer-term solutions with the appropriate team.
• Assess asset I&C engineering risks and drive mitigation actions within agreed timeframes.
• Define operating envelopes; monitor static equipment health, record excursions, and investigate deviations.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and initiate corrective action.

Technical delivery

• Support technical Management of Change and Engineering Queries.
• Identify production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities supporting forecasts and growth.
• Write, review, and recommend technical input to Site Operations Procedures.
• Generate, revise, and review technical documentation; coach client engineers.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional qualification.
• Significant experience in Operations I&C Engineering support.
• Advanced engineering knowledge and knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Sound stakeholder management experience; able to guide appropriate designs and systems for risk prevention and mitigation.
• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer accreditation is listed as a qualification.

Work arrangement

• Full-time position in Sharjah, UAE.
