Full-time, on-site Senior Human Resources Officer role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The role oversees HR practices and supports strategic initiatives and a diverse, multicultural workforce.
Responsibilities
- Oversee development, implementation, and monitoring of HR policies and procedures aligned with local labor laws and organizational standards.
- Manage employee relations, handle employee concerns, and guide performance management.
- Supervise recruitment and onboarding and support workforce planning.
- Draft and update job descriptions; advise managers on HR best practices.
- Support training and development initiatives and collaborate with leadership on strategic HR projects.
- Maintain accurate HR records and promote a positive, compliant, and engaging work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong HR management skills, including strategic planning and operational execution.
- Experience developing, implementing, and interpreting HR policies in accordance with UAE labor regulations; solid knowledge of UAE labor law and HR compliance.
- Robust employee-relations skills, including conflict resolution, counseling, and engagement initiatives.
- Proficiency in job description development, role profiling, and competency-based frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in a multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory HR role; regional experience is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is ideal; professional HR certifications are an advantage.
