Senior Functional Analyst - Sourcing & Procurement

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Connect process challenges and demand with improvements and business benefits to inform solution and technology strategies.
• Validate consistent process design and deployment, performance standards, and end-to-end process compliance.
• Work with stakeholders and delivery teams to implement and test solutions as designed.
• Oversee functional and business process design through delivery and live operations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and optimise business processes.
• Collaborate with process leads, super users, specialists, project managers, analysts, architects, and third-party partners.
• Translate business requirements into IT demand aligned with programme plans and roadmaps.
• Analyse process flows, improve processes, and ensure designs meet business needs and best practices.
• Support business users, troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements, and provide initial-level process and procedure support.
• Collaborate on rigorous testing to validate alignment with business requirements and system functionality.

Experience and qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience.
• SAP Ariba modules and SAP MM / Sourcing and Procurement knowledge.
• Experience implementing or supporting SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement solutions.
• Experience with sourcing events, supplier onboarding, contracts, and purchasing workflows.
• Knowledge of supplier lifecycle, risk, performance, contract, and spend management.
• Experience integrating procurement with finance and inventory processes.
• A proven record improving supplier management, sourcing, and procurement processes with business stakeholders.
• Understanding of business processes, functional configuration, end-to-end processes, system integration, and testing.
