The Senior Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Technician role is based in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission, inspect, and maintain fire alarm and fire fighting systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify panels, detectors, manual call points, sounders, and related equipment.
- Maintain and repair fire pumps, control panels, valves, hydrants, hose reels, and sprinkler systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective AMC maintenance, attend emergency breakdowns, and respond to service requests.
- Inspect sites and prepare service, maintenance, and rectification reports.
- Follow UAE fire and life safety requirements, authority guidelines, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and site teams; communicate with clients and provide technical support.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on fire alarm and fire fighting systems experience in the UAE or a similar market.
- Strong technical knowledge of installation, troubleshooting, rectification, and maintenance.
- Experience with AMC contracts, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
- Ability to identify and resolve faults independently.
- Familiarity with fire alarm panels, detectors, modules, fire pumps, sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants, and valves.
- Ability to prepare reports and communicate technical issues clearly.
- Good teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid UAE driving licence is advantageous, not mandatory; UAE residence is preferred.
Education and experience
- Diploma or technical qualification in a relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant hands-on experience.
