Join Allianz UK's finance reporting team to support external reporting and implementation of new accounting standards across the Group.
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity.
The role may be based in the Bournemouth or Guildford office, with an expectation to attend one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in group reporting.
- Prepare statutory accounts, including all disclosure notes, and Solvency II regulatory returns.
- Liaise with auditors on queries about statutory accounts and Solvency II regulatory returns.
- Seek opportunities to enhance and improve processes.
Essential skills and experience
- Excellent analytical skills and good technical accounting knowledge.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while meeting reporting deadlines.
- Qualified accountant: CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
- Previous experience working in an insurance company.
Desirable skills
- Working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
- Responsible artificial intelligence usage is desirable.
Pay and benefits
- Pay is approximately £70,000 and is based on relevant experience, skills, and location.

Working arrangements
- The role can be based in Bournemouth or Guildford, with office attendance expected one day per week.
