Financial Analyst Intern supporting internal financial reporting, analysis, presentations, and financial models.

The role provides guided work experience and exposure to departmental activities and business operations.
Role responsibilities
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis and support monthly and quarterly closing for timely, accurate results.
- Support financial model development and forward-looking information, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.
- Assist with presentations for senior leadership, board committees, and board meetings, and help develop financial communications for reporting needs.
- Use insights responsibly while working with AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools under data governance, security, and ethical-use standards.
- Contribute to day-to-day departmental activities and goals through guided tasks and projects.
What you will bring
- College or university student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and willing to learn advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and numerical aptitudes.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work arrangement
- Hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at the Cambridge, Ontario office.
- Relocation and housing support are not provided.
Compensation
- Hourly base pay is CAD $23.00.
