Role Overview

Location and Schedule

• Job location is the South Ruislip Ventilation Shaft site, accessible by public transport via South Ruislip on the Central Line.
• Working hours are weekdays.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop designs, construction methodologies, programmes, and costs for assigned works.
• Prepare resources, procurement, consents, and pre-start documentation for delivery.
• Manage, supervise, train, and mentor site teams and subcontractors.
• Review contracts, programmes, budgets, productivity, and project changes.
• Maintain site records and communicate non-conformances and instructions to project teams.
• Implement inspection, testing, risk assessment, method statement, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Coordination and Stakeholders

• Coordinate with construction, design and engineering, quality assurance, cost control, HS2, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Implement applicable environment, sustainability, safety management, and statutory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a civil engineering allied subject, or an HND in civil engineering with vocational engineering training.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing, best practice, and construction contracts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Computer competence with Microsoft Office, document control systems, and AutoCAD.
• Relevant CSCS Card and training in health and safety and environmental management.
