Job purpose
Provide expert engineering support for electrical maintenance activities across the plant and power network.
Help ensure equipment availability, reliability, and integrity in line with industry practices and standards.
Key accountabilities
- Develop and maintain electrical maintenance practices, procedures, and guidelines aligned with corporate and ADNOC standards.
- Review maintenance practices and introduce modern techniques to improve productivity, availability, and reliability.
- Plan and supervise major overhauls and extraordinary maintenance programs.
- Coordinate short- and long-term plans, overhauls, and shutdowns for assigned equipment.
- Support resolution of critical electrical equipment breakdowns in the assigned area.
- Review plant change requests and conduct engineering studies to assess plant feasibility and safety.
- Prepare technical and economic documentation for upgrades to obsolete equipment.
- Advise on maintenance and operational issues for electrical equipment and power networks.
- Investigate recurring maintenance problems, determine root causes, and recommend corrective action.
- Develop testing procedures and follow up on tests for critical electrical safety systems.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of engineering and maintenance experience.
- Oil and gas experience is preferred.
