Position scope

Commissioning responsibilities

• Review project scope, specifications, drawings, and contractual documents; identify requirements, risks, and constraints.
• Assess commissioning work, resources, and execution constraints; monitor field quality and progress.
• Conduct Job Safety Analysis and toolbox talks, contribute to commissioning bids, and verify construction completion and safety readiness.
• Lead subcontractors in safe pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to schedule; monitor costs and report overruns.
• Review risk assessments and HSE matters with clients and coordinate daily progress updates across project teams.
• Lead instrument commissioning engineers and direct instrument SAT, loop testing, and functional testing.
• Support and resolve technical issues involving DCS, ESD, HIPPS, AMS, and OPC communication.
• Coordinate QA/QC compliance and audit requests; report design failures and discrepancies as lessons learned.

Requirements

• Requires a strong engineering background in instrument field devices and control systems.
• Requires the ability to lead the instrumentation commissioning team and guide technical issues.
• Requires commissioning knowledge covering instrument SAT, loop testing, functional testing, and listed control and safety systems.
• Requires the ability to coordinate subcontractors and support safe, scheduled project execution.
