Job description:

Review and approve Project specification, procedures ,,Inspection test plan (ITP), method statement (MS), Quality Control Procedures,(QCP), material approval(MAR).

Organize Kick-off meeting & discussing any clarifications, conflicts that are noticed on Specification & Mutually agree with all Parties for Proceedings. Discussing Reference Area Placement.

Performing Material Receiving for Paint, Thinner, Metallic & non-Metallic abrasives based on approved PO, Project Specification, Batch Certificate, PDS, MSDS, GHS Label.

Review and approve - blasting abrasive material testing reported by independent laboratory. Verify storage condition of abrasives , painting material as per supplier recommendations and local law & regulations.

Reviewing the List of Qualified Painting/Blasting Operators as per Project Specification & also reviewing the past work History of Sub-contractors involved in the Project.

Maintaining the Calibration Log & Reviewing the List of Instruments that were used, if Damaged/about to expire then sending to Approved Lab for Repairing & further Calibration.

Monitoring the ambient conditions during Blasting/Painting Application & measuring Dry & wet bulbs Temperature, Dew Point Temperature, Relative Humidity, Substrate Temperature.

Evaluating Cleanliness by Ensuring that surface is free from Rust, Steel defects, Weld defects, Oil/Grease Contaminants. Also witnessing Blotter test to evaluate compressed air contaminations.

Witnessing & Evaluating the Surface Preparation done by Abrasive Blasting/Power tool cleaning, that are free from Marks, Burrs, Sharp Edges & checking the Dust Level by Pressure sensitive Tape.

Evaluating the Surface Profile/Roughness requirements by Profile Comparator, Replica Tape/Dial Gauge method & checking soluble salts by Bresle patch method.

Verifying the Mixing ratios as per Paint Manufacturer recommendation for Single/Two Pack Paints

Ensuring that application is in a proper way like nozzle distance, Application angle,Hand movement of applicator to avoid coating defects.

Measuring the WFT and also ensuring that Stripe coats were applied on all Inaccessible & Weld Areas.

Measuring the DFT & Holiday Testing after considering curing time, Verify the DFT values were met as per Project Specification/Paint Manufacturer.

Witnessing the non-destructive -pull off Adhesion test or Cross/X- Cut Test.

Evaluating the paint defects & recommending for repair as per Painting Procedure/Method Statement and ensuring proper feathering was done on the localized Repaired surface.

Insulation works :

Oversee insulation installation on construction sites, ensuring high-quality work, adherence to project specs, and timely completion.

Supervise insulation teams, plan schedules, and allocate resources to meet deadlines

Ensure insulation materials are properly installed and meet project specifications

Identify and address defects or issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent rework

Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company policies

Manage and control insulation materials, equipment, and labor to optimize efficiency and minimize waste

Insulation installation experience

Knowledge of insulation materials and installation methods

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Familiarity with industry regulations and standards

Job description :

Approve Insulation Materials Thickness, thermal conductivity, Density, Wire mesh/Vapor Barrier Quality as per standards, specifications, Material data sheets and application guidelines.

During execution verify below to be verified ,a condition of substrate

The systems are released for insulation installation.

The surfaces of insulation are clean , dry and painted .

Heat tracing installed and released for insulation.

All the supports are installed correctly.

verify number of layers and correct thickness as per Specification.

Dimensions of securement bands/wire/tape are spaced correctly, all the joints are staggering correctly and sealed .

Preformed section and fittings are correctly installed

Vapor barrier correctly installed , expansion and contraction joints are installed correctly and extent of insulation to be installed.

Monitoring Installation of Metallic Claddings (SS, Alu-Zinc, Galvanized steels). Nonmetallic Claddings sealant, Securing Bands. Correct size , thickness to be installed , jacket overlap to be checked ,all terminations to be sealed properly . Valve and flanges installation to be verified .inspection windows to be installed properly and removable boxes installation.
