The Senior Site Engineer – Electrical (MEP) supervises and manages electrical works on high-rise building projects.
The role requires technical knowledge, site coordination, and hands-on experience with LV/ELV, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and authority compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical MEP activities at high-rise project sites.
- Review drawings and specifications and ensure execution meets project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and other MEP disciplines.
- Monitor installation of LV and ELV systems, lighting, emergency lighting, earthing, and fire alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, Civil Defence, and other UAE authority standards.
- Conduct inspections, resolve site issues, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Verify material deliveries and installation methods against approved shop drawings.
- Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports for management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 7–10 years of MEP site experience, with at least 3 years on high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems installation and MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with UAE authority procedures, including DEWA, Civil Defence, and DCD approvals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 10,000–15,000 per month.
