Role overview
Supervise electrical site work for high-rise building projects.
Manage technicians, oversee electrical-system installation, and coordinate with engineers to maintain quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily electrical MEP activities and lead electricians and technicians to deliver work on time and to quality standards.
- Install and oversee LV and ELV systems, lighting, power distribution, earthing, and fire alarm systems.
- Follow approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Safety Officers, and other MEP teams; inspect work and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, Civil Defence, and other UAE authority requirements.
- Monitor material use, report shortages or site needs, maintain daily progress reports, and update the Site Engineer.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–8 years of electrical MEP experience, including at least 2 years in high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations and MEP coordination.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Good leadership and team-supervision skills.
Skills and competencies
- LV and ELV installation experience.
- High-rise building project experience and site supervision.
- Knowledge of UAE authority standards.
- Problem-solving and team-management skills.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
