Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.
Core areas include CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerization, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms.
- Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar tools.
- Ensure production environments are highly available, scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux/Unix-based servers and environments.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and IT teams to streamline software delivery.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps processes.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, infrastructure failures, and production incidents.
- Manage Git and branching strategies; optimize cloud costs; maintain technical documentation; participate in disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, system administration, or related roles.
- Strong experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP; hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar monitoring/logging tools.
- Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, DNS, load balancers, and security principles.
- Experience with Git and source code management; knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.
Preferred skills
- Microservices architecture; Helm and Kubernetes deployment strategies; ArgoCD or other GitOps tools; database administration and cloud-managed databases; high-availability and scalable production environments.
- Relevant AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, or Azure DevOps certifications are advantageous.
