Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform services for application delivery.
- Build and maintain automated deployment, monitoring, and observability solutions for availability, scale, and performance.
- Improve infrastructure as code, configuration management, and environment standardization.
- Partner on system design, including low-level design, API integration patterns, and operational data flows.
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions and workflows.
- Lead incident response, problem management, and post-incident reviews; use metrics to drive operational improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead complex, ambiguous projects.
Minimum qualifications
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related infrastructure, systems, or DevOps field.
- 9+ years of hands-on production cloud experience, including end-to-end ownership of one or more services or platforms.
- Expertise in CI/CD tooling, infrastructure as code, and automation for build, test, deployment, and environment provisioning.
- Strong system-design proficiency covering infrastructure components, API integration, networking, security controls, and operational data modeling.
- Experience monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting production distributed systems with logs, metrics, and alerts.
Preferred qualifications
- Remote build-caching experience, such as Gradle Enterprise or Bazel Remote Cache, and macOS build-performance tuning are preferred.
- Strong AWS experience and experience with Terraform, Packer, or GitHub Actions are preferred.
- Large-scale CI improvement and cloud-native platform experience, including resilience, capacity planning, and cost optimization, are preferred.
- Experience leading architecture and defining deployment-pipeline, infrastructure, and operational-tooling standards is preferred.
- Advanced observability, incident-management, reliability-engineering, and SLI/SLO improvement experience is preferred.
- Production experience with AI/ML-enabled or AI-assisted systems and AI-supported DevOps workflows is preferred.
