About the Role
Hands-on DevOps role responsible for tools, processes, automation, and infrastructure supporting application delivery and operations.
Own complex technical challenges and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure reliability, security, and efficiency.
Most work occurs during normal business hours, with occasional after-hours support for downtime, deployments, or maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Lead application infrastructure, cloud environment, deployment process, and DevOps practice improvements.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation standards.
- Own AWS infrastructure design, deployment, optimization, and ongoing support.
- Manage and integrate application infrastructure across Windows and Mac environments.
- Resolve complex application, infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
- Support MySQL 8, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and SQLite environments.
- Improve reliability, observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery practices.
- Mentor technical team members and evaluate new tools and technologies.
Required Experience
- Significant hands-on AWS and production cloud infrastructure experience.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, deployment automation, and developer tooling experience.
- Strong experience with MySQL 8, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and SQLite.
- Strong experience across Windows and Mac environments.
- Practical experience with reliability, observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-environment issues and independently own solutions.
- Experience mentoring developers or technical team members.
Nice to Have
- Azure environment experience is preferred.
- Microsoft Data Platform experience is preferred.
- Ruby on Rails or other application framework experience is preferred.
- Experience improving DevOps standards and evaluating developer productivity tools is preferred.
Language Skills
- Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is preferred.
