About the Role

Support and improve the tools, processes, and infrastructure enabling application development, deployment, and operation.

Automate and streamline software delivery while keeping application environments and deployment pipelines reliable and efficient.

Work independently on day-to-day technical activities and collaborate with senior technical resources when required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain application infrastructure, cloud environments, and deployment processes.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, infrastructure-as-code, and automation solutions.
  • Support AWS application development, deployment, operations, Windows and Mac environments, and databases.
  • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and environment issues.
  • Contribute to reliability, observability, monitoring, disaster recovery, application updates, and configuration changes.
  • Participate in deployments, maintenance, and occasional after-hours support.

Required Experience

  • Hands-on AWS and cloud infrastructure experience.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code, automation, CI/CD pipeline, and developer tooling experience.
  • Database and data store experience, including MySQL 8, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQLite.
  • Several years of Microsoft Data Platform experience.
  • Experience across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Practical understanding of reliability, observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
  • Troubleshooting experience across application, infrastructure, deployment, and development environments.
  • Solid understanding of software development and deployment processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or MVC application development frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles, including authentication, authorization, access controls, and SAML/SSO.
  • Knowledge of Python, APIs, and web services for automation, integration, and DevOps.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to application code.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and AI-powered tools for software development, automation, or DevOps workflows.

Language Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is preferred.

Schedule

  • Most work is performed during normal business hours.
  • Occasional after-hours support may be required for downtime, deployments, or maintenance.
