Discovery Dunes is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Design Manager to lead the design and delivery of luxury residential, hospitality, recreational, and infrastructure projects within one of the region's most exclusive private lifestyle communities.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of a world-class destination, overseeing projects from concept through construction while ensuring every detail reflects our commitment to excellence, innovation, and member experience.
About The Role
As Senior Design Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary design teams and collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to bring exceptional projects to life.
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of design quality while balancing functionality, operational requirements, budgets, and timelines.
This role requires a strategic thinker, strong leader, and exceptional collaborator with a passion for luxury design and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process across multiple projects from concept development through project completion.
- Coordinate architects, interior designers, landscape architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Review and approve design submissions to ensure alignment with project vision, brand standards, and quality expectations.
- Facilitate design workshops, stakeholder reviews, and project coordination meetings.
- Monitor project progress, design milestones, and consultant deliverables.
- Review materials, finishes, mock-ups, and samples to maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborate with development, operations, finance, and procurement teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide design oversight during construction and support project handover activities.
What Skills & Qualifications Are Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design management, architecture, or project leadership.
- Proven experience delivering luxury residential, hospitality, mixed-use, or large-scale development projects.
- Strong experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and complex design processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
